What's REALLY going on!
In case you're wondering, no the girl in the picture is not my cousin, and no, I did not photoshop her in. The girl in the picture just happens to be my girlfriend, Miss Jessica Sharp.

How did you meet? I was hanging out with some old SMB friends, Joel and Caleb Bontrager. We were going to a rodeo, and thier sister Abi wanted to go along, but she didn't want to be the only girl, so she invited Jess along.
She looks familiar, have I seen her before some where: As a matter of fact you might have, she was at SMBI the past two winters and graduated this past spring, and before that she quizzed quite a few years.
How did you ever manage to get her to go out with you? I actually didn't have a whole lot to do with it, God did a lot of the work. It has been totally amazing the way He has worked so far. There have been some crazy stories about how He has directed and led and continues to lead.

Okay, so its been like nine months since I updated my Xanga. Which basically means I got a life and Xanga feel by the wayside.
It was a year ago this week that I quit my job and decided to start working for myself. It has been an absolutely awesome ride, building my own business and stuff. Not realy xanga material, so you didn't hear much about it. Basically I realized My life was going no where and I wasn't going to get anywhere at my job, so I quit there and tried something that has the potential to go places.
My job wasn't the only place I decided it was time to get a move on with. I also realized that if I want to get anywhere with some of my relationships with church and friends and stuff, I am going to need to be alot more proactive. Which has been awesome. The past year has been one of the best, most rewarding years I've enjoyed. And I've been too busy to really post a whole lot about it on Xanga.

It's cold and windy out today. High today is supposed to be 18*. My kid just called in sick, so I get to spend the day in the office balancing checkbooks, paying bils, and all the other paperwork that goes with running a business. O' joy, O' delight.
